Road to Andromeda It's the second installment by the Public Tranceport Collective. After their high speed departure from the Terminal 14A, they've decided that they must go to Andromeda. The collective in this 4 track Ep show that has its roots in the 90's breakbeat/electro genres, but they had combined them with a new and fresh approach.
The Ep starts with "A Place To Stay", a 4 on the floor breakbeat tune, disclaimer: be aware you could be hooked for life to its vocal. This track it's like founding a place to set finally for a while after a long and exausting journey among the stars.
After every departure there is an arrival, when you can feel the electric breeze coming from something that you don't know yet, tickling all your senses. Arrival yess that's an important matter.
With "Arrival" thingz get seriouz.It's a smart electro infused tune, evolving around synths arpeggios, crispy hihat and an unresistable bassline.
On the flip side you'll get "Fekir", a bass infused breakbeat-then 4 on the floor tune. The atmosphere gets darker, like inside a forest after the sunset. Strange glitches will appear all around you alongside cybernetic percussion, the crickets that you hear are robots, don't worry they're friendly. It's a techno track that evolves around bass rhytms, glitches and a huge amount of delay.
Yess we love Echoes and Delays, and you can hear it in the last tune "Ecodub" made by the Galattica duo.
Their previous track was reviewed as a gabber track on acid (100% accurated), this one it's hard to insert in a precise musical genre.
It has dub and reggae elements, a UK bass rhytmic approach, an haunted post punk vocal that speaks about Freedom (It was recorded Just After the first lockdown on 2020) and tribal percussion that will float around you thanks to our beloved delay.
You'll find attached to the purchase the first issue of the Public Tranceport story, a visual tale that will get you into a deeper understanding of our universe.
